Hi, I’m Calum — the guide, storyteller, driver, nature enthusiast, photo-taker, and enthusiastic snack dealer behind Wild Horizon.
I’m someone who feels most at home wandering through misty glens, dipping my hands in cold loch water, spotting deer on a quiet ridge, or sharing a good story by a campfire. For me, Scotland isn’t just scenery, it’s a living, breathing thing full of history, humour, mystery, and wild beauty. And I love nothing more than sharing that with people.
I grew up exploring landscapes like Loch Lomond and Glencoe long before I ever realised I could turn that passion into a job. Over time, friends and visiting travellers kept telling me:
“You should take people on tours - you tell the best stories and you know all the hidden spots.”
So I did.
And Wild Horizon was born.
